Type 6
Type 6 coveralls protect wearers from light sprays and splashes. Has the lowest level of protection compared to other coveralls and should only be worn in low- risk environments.
Coveralls with Multiple Types
Coveralls with multiple type numbers mean that the coverall provides adequate protection against a variety of hazards and meets criteria in multiple tests. For examples type 5/6 and type 3/4 are best examples. Type 5/6 coveralls are generally used by cleaning specialist of asbestos. Also used by those working in the wood and plastics processing industries. Type ¾ coveralls are used for chemical protection and oil spill cleanup.
